OutOfFrame is a neighbor map of cameras you can see — Flock plate readers, city CCTV, and doorbells — plus a quiet ping when you get close. The live map isn’t open yet. Start with your city.
What we are
- Awareness and accountability for publicly visible infrastructure
- Community reporting with a verification ladder
- Optional proximity alerts with clear location consent (coming online)
- Block-level defaults for residential cameras
What we are not
- Not a guide to disable, vandalize, jam, or interfere with cameras
- Not a live video feed platform
- Not a marketplace for selling user or reporter location data
- Not a live Flock / police hot-list service, and not a Palantir or fusion-graph lookup for a person, name, or plate
- Not a clone of Have I Been Flocked or Atlas of Surveillance — we cite those catalogs; we do not rebuild them
